The Neanderthal flute - Interesting documentary about a musical instrument, possibly approximately 43,100 years old, in six parts.
Although it is hardly likely that this was indeed a "neanderthal instrument" as stated in the film, the fact remains that this flute is indeed very old. It is more likely that the flute was manufactured by our own biological ancestors: homo sapiens sapiens, and not by homo sapiens neanderthalensis; it is possibly a Magdalenian period instrument.
