World Connection, documentary in three parts featuring Neco Novellas.
Performing his own music, Neco Novellas (Anselmo João Johanhane) explains how it fits in Mozambique as wel as in Afican music; then working together with Brazilian musicians, coming to his own version of a universal music of the world, where his studies in classical music, jazz and world music all contribute. Neco (singer, guitarist) works together with his brothers Nelson (guitar) en Isildo (bass-guitar) as well as with his sisters Cidalia and Isabel.[1]
